Nova Era Bakery & Pastry Inc., founded in August 1991 by Jose E. Dias. Our goal was to provide a European-Style Bakery/Café, which did not exist in our community.

In August of 1991 we opened Nova era Bakery & Pastry Inc. on 1172 Dundas St W. Toronto. We had such a great response from our customers that in 1994 we decided to open our 2^nd location in York, Nova Era Bakery & Pastry II Inc. at 529 Rogers Rd.

In 1995 Little Italy district (College & Shaw) became the place to be seen; we opened Nova Era Bakery & Pastry III Inc. at 770 College St.

In 1999 we opened Nova Era Bakery & Pastry V Inc 980 Bloor St. W. In 2000 Europa Bakery 350 Oakwood at Rogers went up for sale we purchased it and opened Nova Era Bakery & Pastry VI Inc.

In 2001 we received our Nova Era Registered Trademark.

In 2002 we were presented with an offer to purchase the corner of St. Clair and Caledonia with an operating car wash with a large empty lot. We built a self standing building and opened Nova Era Bakery & Pastry VII Inc.

In 2004 we purchased a 16000sq.ft. Warehouse like building on Geary Ave., at this location is Nova Era Bakery & pastry VIII, Head Office and Production Plant.
